I have a s470 I have stripped down to bare wood. I am putting different pickups in also.
I am using a inf1, inf2 and a single coil w/ a 5 position switch. I have rewired my RG and did a project with humbuckers but they were all 4 wire outputs. The inf1 and 2 have a single wire output.
Do I need to go with a 3 way switch or can I keep the 5 way?
Where can I find wiring diagrams for the single output humbuckers?
Any suggestions would be helpful.

That's the best I've seen yet. The only difference is that my pickup has only a white wire with the braided shield wire around it. This diagram has a white and red with a shield around it.

So no red wire, only white and the shield wire? Didn't that's even possible, I'm confused...

The braided wire probably doubles up as the ground and the output wire, so goes to pot. The other wire goes to switch. Pin 1 for the bridge, pin 3 for the neck. On the above diagram, i'd put pin one as the far right one (in other diagrams, it's the far left). Depends which direction your looking at your switch from.

Just remember that the five positions light up the pins in this order.

1+6
2+6
2+7
2+8
3+8

The blue are the extra two positions you get on a five way. If you don't connect any coil tapping wires to pins 6 and 8, then the center three positions just give you your center, single coil pickup (2).

Pins 4 and 5 are always ON, in every position.
