Could anyone tell me exactly which positions on the switch toggle which contacts?

Positions one (most to the right and down (when looking at the guitar as you would play it)) bridge:

X_O_O_O_X_O_O_O (the Os are the contacts on the switch (as you see them on the official ibanez diagrams as seen below)

I'm having a really hard time trying to install a Seymour Duncan SH-1 '59 (single conductor) on there...

This is how the original Ibanez wiring diagram goes:

This is how mine's setup right now (which works like poop.):

SH-1 '59 in neck socket (single conductor)
SH-13 Dimebucker in bridge socket (normal 4 conductors)

Any advice/help?

Was thanked: 47 time(s) in 40 post(s)
When looking in the cavity at the back, with the neck pointing to your right, the pins 1 to 8 are going from left to right (at least thats the way i number them).

Pins 4 and 5 are always ON in every switch position. Moving the toggle from the bridge position, through the five positions, switches theses pins on:

1= Pins 1 & 6
2= Pins 2 & 6
3= Pins 2 & 7
4= Pins 2 & 8
5= Pins 3 & 8

If that's any help.

Not sure if this helps. I wired in a set of DiMarzio D-Activators using a 2004 RGT42 wiring diagram with a 5 way switch into my RG. The diagram should be close to the same wiring as the Seymour-Duncans. Here is a link to the SD wiring Diagram for comparison against the RGT42 diagram which I think you already know how to get thru the Ibanez support site.

It was still a pain as I had to mark off the wiring as I went along so I knew which connections were complete. In Any case the 2004 RGT42 diagram will get you there.
