As many of you have figured out by now, we will be releasing the new PGM401 as Paul Gilbert's Signature Model for 2009. It's a beautiful Ash body with black F holes (graphic) and a fixed bridge. You've seen the pictures from our sister distributors around the world. A great addition to Paul's rich history of Signature PGM's for sure!

For 2009, we will be celebrating a milestone in our relationship with one of the greatest guitarists of all time. 20 years of PGM goodness. And in keeping with Ibanez tradition, the 20-year mark earns this great musician a 20th Anniversary model.

Can anyone guess what it might be?

Ok, I'll give you some hints...

- It has the letters "RE" in the model number.
- It has two distinct, vibrant colors.
- Does not have a reverse headstock.

See if you can guess the model...

JAY

Those really weren't "his" model though, those were just vintage Ibanez's that are part of his collection.

I have no idea though, my only guess was a really bad shot in the dark with the fireman.

The PGM 100 and 200 are the only one's with two really vibrant colors. A re-release of either of these would be too good to be true!

my bet on the rocket roll with painted F holes..oops..

BUT...

his double neck replica is also a winner!!

If VAI can get JEM whatsoever...
Satriani can get the Blackdog or Surf JS.
why can't Gilbert with his white double neck?

Cause double necks are fairly useless!!!

except for his 3 string arpeggio shreds which took him a while to figure out a use for the 2nd neck.

forgot to mention about the PGM-100.
The PGM 100 is strong candidate as well as 3 pickups green PGM ( PGM 200) ?
whatever it is.. please don't make a complete re-issue, please make it different, says.. different color, I was thinking PGM-100 with loch ness green and yellow F holes...

and I'm pretty sure the 100 was Paul's first PGM, so a re-issue would make sense.
