Hi, Im looking at an Ibanez electric acoustic made in china serial number 2701j040609483. Is this authentic /made under licence for ibanez. If authentic are the guitars made in china of a resonable quality.

Looks to be one of these. I wouldn't say it's a bad guitar, but it IS an entry level, beginner quality acoustic guitar. Don't expect it to sound or play like a $2000 Taylor or Martin, but it's certainly good for the beginner or part time strummer. Here's another link.

Thanks, reading through the reviews this model guitar is a good sounding instrument for a resonable price - not the quality level of a taylor but also not the taylor price.Reviews seem to put it at an intermediate level rather than beginer so will just have to wait and see on that one.
This instrument will be used by my daugther 13 who wants to be a singer/songwriter/guitarist - I hope this instrument enhances her performance -we shall see!
