Was this the only pic?
My eyes were crossing at all the Kanji(?) text.

Yes, That's the only pic I have seen so far. I haven't seen any in the guitar stores in Japan yet. Oh, thanks for posting the picture. I have never tried to post a picture yet.

They look really nice and I'm looking forward to seeing the complete RGD line-up for 2010.

Also look at the RG6 Prestige in BTB (as Joe had on his JS1000) with maple board and sharptooth inlays. That also looks sweet!

That body shape reminds me quite a bit of the Cort X series. Looks nice!

Promising. That 7 looks awfully similar to a Petrucci indeed, with more contour cuts. Look at the pickup selector. But no tone pod, and the price seems not that bad either.

Dude, do you actually read what's on the picture?

Also, this is aparently an add in a Japanese guitar magazine - so heck knows what colors, etc. will show up outside the domestic market. NAMM's coming anyway.

Yea but that's MRSP, so I'd assume it'll be around $1500 maybe.

Look closely - pay special attention to the second guitar on the top row:

The have the whole maverick look to them with all the cuts and stuff.

What are we looking at? It looks like a couple of the new RGD guitars, but cannot make out any features, other than there is that edge zero again.

Are you talking about what looks like a RGA8 with a tremolo (the purple RGA in the middle?)

That's from Loudpark 09, a Japanese music fair.

I think the RGD 7 is the black guitar on the table to the left?

But I have no effin' clue what the guitar in the middle of the top row is...but that is a curved top like an S or an RGA to me. Does not seem to have the S-style plug however, so might be the latter, or something entirely new. I am actually not even sure that this is a 7-string, but rather an 8?

Prestige RGA7 or 8. Me likez.

The ones on the top look like RGA's to me, notice the pickup selectors, the RGD in the ad have a 3 way toggle under the neck pickup, these have the standard 5 way switch.
