The new RG870Z says "Premium" on the headstock instead of "Prestige". Any info?

Many of the images that are being posted by that Ibanez-News Blog (which is based in Ireland) are taken from the European distributors for other countries. While some may also be for the USA, some are not.

We will announce all of our USA model introductions as we get closer to NAMM.

Thank you,

I have a premium SR1405e and it's definitely a better sounding bass than every ibanez that has come with bartolini's imo. The Nordstrand pickups make the bass and if all prestige or premium, or whatever, were to start coming with nordy's, or at least the option of nordys instead of barts, I think they'd sell quick. Plus I'll never buy a prestige again if they're going to start costing $2000, I can get any assortment of CUSTOM bass, WITH MY CHOICE OF OPTIONS, for that price (..and i have). So, why have a "premium" series? why not just keep with "prestige"? I have my assumptions, but I figure I'd ask anyway because I just don't understand.

I tested a SR1205E yesterday and words are not enough to describe how incredible this bass is! Seriously: I've tested some older Prestige models and honestly this one was way better - both feel & tone. Now I have to sell my Thumb BO to buy one of these babies (yup, it's that good!).
