I just wanted to take a momment and post how much I enjoy my AS-73 2 Tone Sunburst Guitar. I've played quite a few differant guitar's as I was shopping to purchase a Semi Hollow and though they all play good, this one topped the list.

I actually enjoy it more each time I play it and I swear the tone keep's getting better. After tightening all the screws and nuts around the guitar and changing the string's, I havent done another thing to it but Jam.

I also feel sorry for some of the people who have experienced some problem's with their guitar's. Not everyone is fortunate to have several good guitar stores in the area as I do.

Once again, Thank you to all the People at Ibanez for making Extremely High Quality Guitars for a Reasonable and Affordable price.

I'm happy for you Dave. My experience was the same. Ibanez was just plain a better guitar for the money. My only problem was the guitars I was interested in were not available in stores to try out...AM73 and AS93. I took a leap of faith and just ordered them at my local Ibanez dealer. I am delighted with both. And since I also have two of the other guy's to compare them too...and...well they don't compare. Well I guess that is not's fair. My 1999 Epi Sheraton II is a pretty nice guitar but it ain't an AS93.

They do grow on you. I have taken both of mine a little farther than you. I installed a Goto 510 bridge on my AM73 and put setscrews in the bridge and tailpiece on my AS93. Anything else was just setup to suit my personal taste.

Yeah I do too, but I don't understand it. Jay, Tom and Matthew will confirm this: every guitar is thoroughly inspected before being shipped from Hoshino USA...well I'm taking Jay's word for it as both of my guitars were near perfect.

Without going into too much detail about my experiences; I'll just say that Ibanez is HANDS DOWN the best quality guitar for the money. It amazes me that I've been able to restart a collection of AMAZING sounding and playing guitars for such little money. I now have five Artcores, one AEL40, and a newborn bass on the way (ATK310 MGR), and I can say without equivication that any issues I have with any of these guitars will be WORTH IT over and over again.
Thanks IBANEZ, you rule.
