Man, I picked this one up cheap, mostly because I love S guitars and it already had EMG's. Came with a MC100 case and the EMG's already in it (89/S/S set). It's unlike every S I've ever owned, but I'm really starting to warm up to it. I recently had to do some traveling, and it became my road guitar, during which time I really learned to appreciate it. Of course, it's kind of a pain to work with because the trem is tempramental and the tuners are the most annoying locking tuners I've ever used, but I love the wide neck that's on it. I think it's a Viper neck, because it's definitely no wizard. Still it fits my big hands quite well. And the color is unlike any other color I've ever seen on an Ibanez. Check it out:

She needs a good wipe down, because my paw prints are all over her, but isn't that the sign of a well loved guitar?
I love Ibanez guitars and Mesa Boogie amps.

...I love that color, that's awesome, can you post some photos of the back and the back of the neck as well? That would be great if it came with locking tuners as well...

Sure thing. I'm going to take some outside shots to get a better color representation, and I'll post them tomorrow.

Man that thing is nice! I never heard of a viper neck before. How does it compare to a wizard?

Thanks everyone.

The neck is a bit wider than the normal Wizard. If you've ever felt a Petrucci signature RG neck, it's like that. Also, it's laid out like a Radius/Satriani neck: the headstock has no back angle at all. It just points straight/flat.

OK, finally got a chance to take some outside pictures.

Outside with flash

Outside without flash

Neck angle. It's similar to a Satriani model, and you can see the locking tuners.

These are a pain in the butt to work with though. Normally I like to keep them stock, but I'm seriously looking to put some replacement tuners on this one.

...That's not good, I would figure that they would be fairly simply like the rest of the locking tuners available for purchase. Is it because of how old the guitar is or is it just because the tuners are just that difficult to work with...
