Got this one by mail todayDance
It's from 97 and sure shows some wear... The body got some bruises and the neck is all glossy so it's going to get sanded. It's in need of a new nut and some general care but the frets are in great condition, and thats the important part.

It got the same pickups as my 2077 so I will change them to the new DiMarzio CrunchLab and LiquiFire when I can afford it. Thinking of changing the knobs to skulls or the black stratty ones, haven't decided yet.

Here's some pictures of it now, but I will post new ones when i've got it nice and clean.

Yours is SOOOOO much nicer than mine. I hope to get mine from the shop some time next week. It is FAR from pretty though. :(

I don't know about that... It's got plenty of marks and dings thats not visible in the pictures. It's really hard to find a 7-string in good condition

Looks sweet! How do you like it compared to your 2077?

I actually haven't tried it yet... Im in the middle of the ''restauration process'' and still waiting for the new nut and strings. The 2077 is waiting in a shop to get the tilting trem post to get fixed, so can't compare them until i get it home.

But comparing the specs, it should sound the same and feel the same hence the neck are identical(except scale length). The 7621 neck don't feel as sharp on the underside as on the 2077 thou.

And judging by the looks, my 2077 wins!

Mine has an almost brand new neck, it had been lost when the store switched locations, and it got beat up in the move as well. The body has some HUGE gouges in it, to the wood. But the neck is just like new. I plan on covering the body with (blush) duct tape. I mean if its gotta look bad, its gonna look REALLY bad! Dance I had thought about doing the whole relic thing to it, but the duct tape thing seems like a more "I don't care what any one thinks" thing to do!

This is how she looks now, new nut and knobs...

The nut is a Graphtech Trem-Nut(Carvin model) and it was a direct replacement. No modding was neccesary.

She sounds really amazing! I'm almost having second thoughts about that Crunch Lab and Liquifire...
Comparing to my 2077 I get the feeling this one plays and sounds better, maybe has something to do with the 1-piece neck. I will certainly play this one more! So far this is the best seven i've had!

Here's some more pics of it, I think I captured most of the dents.

That nut looks kinda high (based on the offset of the reflections off the strings on the top of the frets).

I had one of those...nice guitar! Not much of a seven string player, so I sold it for a nice little profit, I got mine for $80 originally. :)
