I paid alot for an LTD and it had several cosmetic flaws, nothing real major, except that it is supposed to be transparent blue, and the only way to see the wood grain is with alot of light. Not what I expected when I ordered it, but I can live with it. It plays nice and that is what matters most.

I am thinking about getting one of these the grx20z to be specific, and was wondering if the trems in the stay in tune?

if you want an ibanez with non-locking trem, better get a SA. or invest on better guitar brands with non-locking trem.. for me, ibanez' non locking trem sucks..

Nope. Non-Locking systems never do. And it's not the trem that's the culprit, it's the nut. People just think it's the trem because that's the bit that's obviously moving.

so if i get a roller nut or a locking nut? will that make it better?

Yep. But fitting both can be difficult. And with the locking nut, you really need a trem with fine tuners because locking the nut tends to knock the strings out of tune slightly.

Ya think............... lol The tuning issues are 99% of the time with the nut not the tuners.
