Ok so a i was given an inf3 and an inf4 and i cant figure out how to wire them. I am using a fender style 5 way selector switch with one volume and one tone. I have looked for diqgrams all ovr the net but i cnt fnd one that works. There are four wires coming frm each pickup. The wires are red blue white and black and then the bare wire. If Im not mistaken --- black and bare are ground / white and blue are coil ( phase / parallel / etc ) red is hot. EHD could answer that better than me

this works in my rg370dx HSH, I've changed my 5 way selector too

1 hot bridge
2 hot single coil
3 hot neck
4 volume pot
1 nothing
2 red/black bridge
3 ground
4 red/black neck

ibanez almost always use the white wire like hot
bare and blue connected to volume pot (ground)

hello
On my INF 3 and 4
white is hot full humbucker
red is the coil split
black is the ground
the thick black wire is shrink tubing
probably hides the bare and what ever wiring
you have these right?

heres a picture of my V-series pickups wiring where I pulled the shrink tubing down to expose the bare/white pair
that was used for ground in these

this is how my RG4 was wired

this will probably give you more insight on how they are arranged
looking at the bridge they are
RED to hot
Black/White together for the split
Blue/Bare to ground
the top is different because they are using a three way switch and having the neck and bridge
split in outside coils in the middle position and thats how thats done
with a 5 way yours will be a bit different

hang on next post will show you how to wire it

wire it like this Seymour Duncan diagram
but change the colors to

SD Black = INF Red
SD White/Red = INF White/Black
SD Green/Bare = INF Blue/Bare

heck I may be too late
