This guitar is beautiful!

That is all.
"Oh, it's a windy and sunny day
And I can hear the faint sound of distant waves
The past weeks have been going by so fast
It's all the same, the bright sky and shining sun
I have a feeling it's gonna be a fun day"

Indeed it is, though I can't help but feel that the vine of life is pretty tacky these days ... ;(

I think the tree of life inlay is still pretty cool but i think its been overused on JEMs.

I think it might be time for ibanez to throw out a new inlay!

LOL, I want a blue one (yes it came also in blue Clap)

I agree that it would be time to stop using the tree-of-life and come out with a new J-custom inlay. Well maybe not discared it at all, but use something new on most J-custom guitars. They have used it so much on the J-customs and the Jems that its loses its unique feel. The current J-custom line-up is nice with the return of the S body shape and the introduction of a completely new one with the FR8620. But the rest looks like all other J-customs they have been producing for the last few years.

So Ibanez, give us something new! PLZ!!! Pray Pray Pray

Edit: By reading my own post it doesn't come across as I had in my mind. I do love this amazing RG9670Z J-custom. It would be a dream to own one of these. And the J-customs always look amazing. However, they could use a new wind and some changes in the estatics. Just to keep them the top of top Ibby's you can get and to really display the craftsmenship that goes into making them.
My Ibby's:
1975 2845 western acoustic
1977 2354S SG custom copy Mahogany
2002 RG7321 BK
1993 RG450 PN
2006 RGTHRG2 N.Y. City XI (Exotic)
2009 RGA32 MOL
2010 RGA42 BK
2005 SRX350 NT

Non-Ibby's:
1999 AriaProII MAC50 Tansparent Blue
1997 Manuel Serrang Spanish acoustic
