Hello all,

This is my first post and I tried searching for similar issues but didn't find an answer.

My wife has an AEG20E guitar and the faceplate fell apart due to the humidity here and I've purchased a replacement faceplate along with the screws and buttons. My question is this:

Are there instructions/videos on how to replace this myself?

This image will show you the basics on how it is put together:

The easiest way to do this is to loosen the strings enough to get your arm inside the guitar. Then position the preamp inside the body with the controls facing out the hole in the side. Now you can place the preamp faceplate over the top of the preamp and screw the hex screws over the plate. Once the screws are hand tightened, you can use a 2.5mm allen wrench to tighten them down. Be sure not to overtighten them.

Hope this helps,
