I would really appreciate your help! I have an AEF37 Acoustic/Electric Guitar and all the wires that connect to the 1/4" and xlr jacks have come undone. There are three wires, a red wire, a yellow wire and a white wire. I need to know what wire goes to where. I've looked at the Ibanez website and they don't have a diagram for the AE series guitars. Any help? Thanks!

if I remember correctly they have the SRTN preamp...this should have a connector that just snapps in place.

It does have the connector on the pre amp side but the wires have come undone on the plug in side. These wires solder in place on the actual jack that is used to plug the guitar into an amp. This system has both a 1/4" plug and an xlr plug.

I know what your talking about...however there should be a white connecter from the preamp that snaps into the output jack/battery box combo...if your wires have disconnected from this attachment (whereas the connector is still connected but the wires are not) a considerable ammount of force would of needed to make the "break"

This is designed that way so that the output jack/battery box combo is easily replaceable, without needing a new preamp

if this is the case I don't see an easy fix, I would take it somewhere and have someone take a look at it to see if they can safely repair it, otherwise it looks like a new preamp will be your solution.

Sorry about the quality of these pics. They were taken from my phone. As you can see the wires have come undone from the input jack. Hope this can help clarify what I'm talking about. Thanks!
