Hi all, this is my first post here. I just bought a second hand GIO GRX22 (which I know after looking at all the models in ibanez wiki). It has some issues but I would like to fix it myself if its possible. It has the tone knob disconnected and also it sound like ground. I found some wiring pictures but I am not sure if they are correct. I also fixed the tunning knobs that were loose and a lot of cleaning. It sounds good but I would like to fix it. I will attach some pictures for you guys understand the tone situation. Also remember that I am located in Curacao, there is no Ibanez shop available here.

Update:

I just put new Dean Markley Strings. Intonation is good now. I tried several shops here in Curacao but caould find the 500k knob. I only found one with 250k. Is it ok to puut one different? Should I noticed the difference?

thanks

You can definitely use a 250K pot instead of a 500K pot. You will probably hear a difference in sound though. The 500K pot will have more Treble in the signal, whereas the 250K pot will take some of the treble out of the signal.

Hope this helps
