RG652 Question

Hi All, i am new to the forum and a proud owner of a new RG652AHM_NGB and man what a guitar! So smooth and easy to play. I did have one question as i cant find much info on the internet about this. Does anybody know what the mark on the top of the headstock is for? looks like somebody took a sharpie and made a mark but i see it appears to be on all of these. Right around the third string tuner.

It sounds to me like you're talking about the walnut strip going through the neck. These thin strips of walnut run the entire length of the neck and will show at the top of the headstock:

This is just the end where the wood shows.
