Hello CaptianNemo,

Looks like this guitar is a AXS32 and from the serial number it was made at the World factory in China in January 2005. I also found it in the catalog archives, here are the links:

2003 Limited Edition Catalog

2005 Catalog

I could not find this guitar in White; I don't know what that means, but maybe White was only offered in Europe.

Happy Holidays hope this helps.

Hi Thankyou Rix, I can stop wondering; only thing is, it has Made in Korea on the headstock. But they sometimes made necks in other countries, so I have read. Anyhow thanks again for the info and I hope you having a good winter break.

The W in the serial number does indeed designate the "World" factory, but in most cases, this is the World factory located in Korea. I also have an Ibanez with a 'W' serial that was made in Korea.

I don't believe there have been any true instances of Ibanez releasing a guitar that has a neck and body made at different factories. Although I have gotten quite a bit of conflicting info from the guitar dater project website. I think people may think their necks were made in different areas due to confusion linked to this serial number website.

Hope this helps,
-Bill
