Hi guys! I'm really far from a guitar store that sells locking tuners and I'm planning to buy online. But the problem is, I don't know what to get and I dont wana drill anything just to setup the tuners. I need help on picking the right kind of locking tuners. My guitar is an SA 120. Thanks!

I recently replace the tuners on my SA2020. They were Gotohs and I replaced them with locking Gotoh 501's. Really great tuners which dropped straight in. Here's the link:

I favor the locking version of Gotoh SG381 machine heads. Depending on what year your SA120 is, you might need to drill a fresh hole for each machine. This is not a problem since most upgrade machine heads would cover the existing holes for the pins of the OEM machine heads on those guitars from those production periods.

I have an '07 SA120 which had the machine heads that use alignment pins. I replaced those with locking SG381's and they covered the existing holes for the alignment pins perfectly.
