Hell, I hope this is the proper place to post this.

I received a S470DXQM several years ago as a gift, and within months I broke the arm at the mounting point. The arm itself was fine but I have since lost that. After I broke it I took a several year break from playing and I'm getting back into it. Currently I have a hole were the hardware used to be and I would like to replace the missing parts. My understanding is that this was a common problem for my model of guitar, and Ibanez has since addressed the issue.

What would be the best way to replace these parts?

Thank you very much.

The ZR trem arm socket has definitely changed since the original version. The newer one has a few different parts that make it up and I'd suggest either searching online, or checking with an Ibanez dealer to purchase these parts. With this new socket assembly, you'll have the choice to go with a solid black or chrome trem arm. Both are listed below:

2TRX5BD001 Trem Arm(Black)
2TRX1BA001 Trem Arm(Chrome)
2TRX1BA002 Arm Socket
2TRX1BA004 Socket Cover
2TRX1BA006 Lock Bolt
2TRX1BA007 Lock Bolt Washer

Hope this helps,
-Bill
