Hello everyone, I'd appreciate some help with identification of this guitar. It's an ex series model,22 frets with triangle inlay, humbucker on bridge and two single coils, it has trs tremolo, original color was some type of red, not sure which cuz the owner repainted it. Dude was second owner and has no idea which model it could be.It has 7 digit serial number. Bought it for 150 €, sounds great just not sure which model it is
Serial number 1051321

This was likely sometime in the 90s, probably 1994-1999. I would try and search through the catalogs to find which model it looks like:

Hope this helps!

Hey there, hell--

You have an EX-360...all right!

It's either 1988 or 1989. If that's pearly-metallic red paint I see in the routed holes under the pickups and bridge, it was the PR (Pearl Red) finish.

I have two EX-360's that are (ever so) slightly different: my PR is def an 89--bought in December of that year for $365. A value--not "cheap".
My MB (Marine Blue) was given to me by a friend in 1993, and is either 88 or 89. Been using that since then because my bass player broke the head stock off the PR in 1991, and I did a working-but-half-a$$ed job gluing it back.

The small differences:

--both have black knurled tone & vol knobs. PR has hard-edged top bevels and the MB's are slightly rounded.

--PR's locking nut is drilled through the neck and the hex opening screws are visible. MB has no screws accessible from the back.

--there's a slight variation in the shape/sharpness of the body cutout scallop on the back of the body and the sort of slanty-bevel on the front near the tone pot.

--engraved markings on the Floyd Rose-licensed bridge are different.

--the neck width where it fits into the body hole is, like 1/32" wider on the MB. (I know because when the head stock broke off the PR, I tried the MB's neck on it, and it was too wide...and actually started to crack the finish).

No matter what, this is a great guitar! Pickups sound very good (especially Neck p/u: very Roger Waters Strat). Bridge great for dist. Plays GREAT. Stays in tune and almost no maintenance. Looks timelessly great (thank god no pick guard).

The only other guitar I've had since those is a 2007 Gretsch G-5120 semi-hollow body (a Korean 6120, basically) that's also a dream. Together, they cover the bases.

I hope this helps :)

Nick
