checked the parts for JS1600 : specifically the tone and vol push/pull pots. 3VR1J500AS I was very surprised that the tone pot was also 500K. Is this a misprint? Can anyone verify this?
Now that I have the part number, how do I order it?

Also would Dimarzio or Fender's 500K push/pull work just as well? Does anyone know?

Thanks

Cary

Both pots are 500K. The Dimarzios are good, might be easier to get than the original.

THanks ! I found : http://www.guitarpartsre...ectrical_fenderpots.htm

Fender 500 push pull for less than the dimarzio's

Are dimarzios better or would these Fenders be preferred?

Congratz on the NGD Clap

Really lloks amazing in that white color with the white pups. How is the balance of the JS with 24 fret neck?

The balance is excellent. The guitar plays like a dream. The neck is absolutely perfect for my hands and the Mo-Joe just screams. It's a very comfortable guitar to play. I couldn't be happier.

I got it from World Of Strings in California (awesome dealer and has amazing deals).

Hi Everyone,

I've just bought a JS1000 and I want to replace the strings but as I'm new on Edge Tremolo could anyone help me on how to set it up or where to find a guide or video links.

Thanks

Hello there folk. My names Jamie Lee Blues. Im new here to the Ibanez Forum but have had my JS1200 for just over 4 years now. She came about as a result of a car crash and a nice wee payout from the insurance company. I was originally after an S series which had a claw mark on the 12 fret from what I can remember. So from having the £400 I saved for 5 months for the S series to being able to afford the almighty JS that I couldnt put down for the 4 months was like a god send. Im also a Joe fan but Im not one to buy a guitar just because such & such uses it. But after playing this baby I could dream of owning it or have my car written off (not by choice). And so the old dude with MS passes out behind the wheel and I smash into him. Disability insurance dont mess around I was 20 and they threw £2000 at me. I didnt have a car for a year. But I have my JS1200.

Hi to everibody, i am a new user and i have I have a question now: i'm buying a ibanez js100 but I have serious doubt; on the back the logo with the serial as is

I think it should be so (i have an other ibanez):

I asked for a sharper image with the serial (this picture are for example) it may be useful

Also the p.u switch is in a white plastic and not black as usual.
Can be original this guitar or fake ?

P.s:
Sorry for my very VERY bad english Shifty

Nothing wrong with the top picture. A lot of the older necks were written like that. Newer ones ten to be inside a black box with a few other logos there as well... Kinda depends who made the guitar.

The real serial of this guitar is: c5022678 and with this information should be
Cort Plant, Korea
February 1995
Production Number: 2678
It's possible that p.u. switch are white and not black (I've never seen this color but in the catalog in effect exist a white part) ?

It's just a screw on piece of plastic, maybe previous owner thought it would look better with a white one and changed it.

Has anyone done a mod job on their JS1200? I like the candy apple colour but would love to have it changed to a chromeboy! Anyone had any success doing this as I seem to remember that even the production models had an issue with the finish at one time.

I'm based in the UK so any recommendations would be appreciated!
