It seems like most of the initial posts here are for and about the Ibanez 7-String models. So instead of littering the forum with a thousand different seven string threads, lets keep all questions, comments and pictures in here. Of course, if you feel that YOUR 7-string model deserves its own show-off thread, then by all means post away. But we'll use this OFFICIAL thread as a means of resource, cool? <br /> <br />...begin... <br /> <br /><img src="http://www.ibanez.com/guitars/models/RG1527RB.jpg" border="0">

<P>A badly needed thread. :D</P>
<P>Some pictures of my 7's (UV7PWH and a RG7CST I sold a few months back, along with my Strat, my Martin, and an EDA-905 bass) can be found <A href="http://www.drewpeters&#111;n.org/gear.html" target=_blank http: gear.html?? www.drewpeters&#111;n.org target="_blank"><strong>here</strong></A>. When I get home tonight I'll try to hunt up some pictures of my old 7620 and 2027, and maybe see what I have for group shots.</P><edited><editID>Drew</editID><editDate>2006-5-16 12:40:50</editDate></edited>

Me thinks... there shouldn't be a sticky... but a whole section/forum for 7's.<img src="smileys/smiley4.gif" border="0"><br>

6 strings are pointless.<img src="smileys/smiley17.gif" border="0"><img src="smileys/smiley4.gif" border="0"><br>

<br>
It has a Lo-Pro 7 trem, which is much smoother and preferred to most
than the Edge7 trem... All of the other Ibanez 7 strings have basswood
bodies (in production for US), but the K7 has a mahogany body.&nbsp; If you've ever played
mahogany, such as an LP, you know the warm, incredibly powerful feeling
they exert.<br>
<br>
Overall, I don't think they are worth the $800 more than an Ibanez
RG1527.&nbsp; A used one, for under $1000, now that's a good deal.<img src="smileys/smiley32.gif" border="0"><br>
