Last week, Ibanez parent company Hoshino-Gakki celebrated its 100th year in business. From its humble beginnings as a sheet music distributor in 1908, to the family owned and operated global entity it is today, much of the company's success lies in the brands that they created so many years ago. And to help keep those memories preserved, Ibanez is proud to offer the most comprehensive look back through the products that got us to where we are today. Every catalog from 1971 to 2007, (2008 catalogs are available for download on our website) is now available for your viewing pleasure. Check them out here.

As far as I can tell, these are only the export catalogs.

The Japanese domestic catalogs are missing.

Please post those as well.

It doesn't matter that they are written in Japanese.

Just click on picture with year's number. Then you'll open every
catalog since 71 to 05 without any problems.

My favourite era is 1984 with Roadstar guitar &
bass lines. Golden times of Ibanez...
Also congratulations! Arritogo Gadzaimatsu!

I bought my Ibanez Concord 2nd hand in Saudi Arabia in 1979, Model 697.
I just fell in love with that Mother of Pearl and it still gets comment.
Until recently I hadn't even figured out there was a serial number inside, wonders never cease! Its J770606(S), and from this I believe it was made in Sejung Ibanez factory in Indonesia in June 1977, the 6th made that month. I am however not sure what the (S) denotes so any help would be appreciated.
I really posted this reply to say thanks for the archived catalogues.
Until today I hadn't seen any reference to Lucinda, (my guitar).
3 Cheers for you guys!!! :)Clap

Actually, Ibanez guitars weren't made in Indonesia until recent times.

Your guitar was actually made in Japan at Terada (a Japanese guitar maker Ibanez no longer uses) in 1977. It was the 606th model produced.

I'm not sure what the "S" notes exactly.
Current Ibanez "Heard":
91' UV7BK "Green Dot"
91' UV7PWH

There used to be an Australian glam metal band called DeMont, they supported motley crue when they toured here and oh my god they were terrible. Anyway, so i have looked through the catalogues and i can't find shark fin inlays on the RG550's so i was wondering when they were introduced and were they only available on the LTD model? Thank you and please read my sig, hint hint Happy
I am chasing a square heel PURPLE NEON RG550 LTD Please.

Hi everyone. Just picked up another Ibanez electric. This one is an EX 1500. I read the entire thread on identifying guitars by serial # and still came away baffled. Maybe someone can help clarify. It's serial # is C302643. Tells me most likely cort, year:83 or 93 month 0 ,10th month...oct? and 2643 number of that guitar made that year or month. Then again I may be nowhere close. It's transparent green (kind of a subdued pastelish green.) H S H config. Trem system. Gold tuners and trem, maple fretboard, dot inlays EX on the headstock is like a backward E (3 lines flowing without a backbone) with an X ...It Id's as a Ex 1500 made in Korea C302643....Anyone able to help? I dug through the catalogs and still no success. If you need a pic,let me know how to upload one and I will. Thanks in advance for any assistance.

Dizzy, Is it this one at the top of the page? If so, it's from the '93 General Catalog
and the color is Transparent Turquoise
