A little tweaking with Adblock and Adblock Plus element hider and you can get rid of unwanted white space, turning this....

into this.....

The color scheme looks fine on all three of my PC's. I have a desktop that I only use when I am at home, a laptop that I no longer use and a netbook. It looks fine on my work PC's as well. I have a blackberry for work, but I cannot read that display at all anymore anyway so I can't say how it looks on that. If the default text size were a little bit bigger, that would help me out a lot. I got really big displays after my surgery - but I cannot increase the size of my netbook display - and I use my netbook the most.

I agree. That's why i got rid of it (see above). Just can't get rid of that annoying blue that highlights the side box as your mouse wanders around the screen. Bloody slows down the speed that you can scroll down a page and is very distracting.....

If your a Firefox user and can't be bothered with Adblock Plus Element Hider (or just can't figure out how to use it) another drastic measure is to go to your browser preferences, select 'Content' and select 'Colors'. Then switch off the ability to let websites set their own colors.

And Rusty, if your using FireFox or Chrome have you tried installing the 'NoSquint' plugin? This lets you set the font sizes for various websites and then automatically applies them when you return to those sites. Useful if the default font size of your browser makes some sites fonts look tiny and other sites fonts look huge.

I actually like that feature. It helps me keep track of where I am.

I don't have either of those browsers. I just use what came with my PC's.

EDIT: This was probably my fault, I just saw that notifications were turned off by default. Just changed the setting.

After changing my e-mail notification settings I noticed that this does not work regardless. At least here, no e-mail notifications on threads/topics I am 'watching'.

I've attempted to register, but never received an email confirmation. I even tried a second attempt, with a different username, thinking that my first attempt I had perhaps got my email address wrong. No confirmation email on the second try either.

ARX320 is my username, if the mods want to search it out.

Thanks. (I previously posted in News, as I saw that someone else had the same problem.)

One thing I noticed is that the new forum layout does look great when I use Google Chrome, but when I open it with IE (no matter which version) it loads much slower and doesn't show everything correctly.

I do like that you can thank people now for their help. I think that is really a fun addition to the board.

As others also have mentioned, The blue that is used now is really hard on my eyes. It makes it harder to focus on the things written in it. And after a longer time here it really starts to wear me out a bit, which seems weird because for my work I need to use a blue/white combination for presentations and this doesn't have the same effect. So it might be something simple as that the blue color used now is just to bright.

As mention earlier, Tube screamer green would be very cool and really make this a Ibanez forum and not just any forum. I dont think the blue/white is painful to watch though.

Bigger default text would be awesome!

This new format is pretty tough to look at. For me, anyway.

Won't let me log in to my existing account, won't send me my password, and you can't send a comment or bug report if you can't log in... very annoying. I finally created a new account with a different email address, but of course, now I can't access the private message someone sent me that started this whole thing. I'm seriously not impressed....
