Hika....you dead.

wh87. Factory settings will put these at around 2.25mm on the Low E/1.75mm on the High E, measuring off the 14th.

You can take it lower to taste.

Yep...Action is pretty subjective.

but as long as you are not buzzing you should be fine.

You know, I'd feel bad, but this user really just doesn't seem to want to take the hint ... ;(

And I don't see why you should be holding me to a higher standard than him. If he can talk like that, I should be able to do the same. Don't be mad at me while giving him a free pass ...

It's the advanced member tag on your user profile..

Haha.

I've only been messing with you. I suppose much like you've been messing with him.

We're a lot alike, you and I.

Aha, fair enough. :) No worries then. Just don't want to take an unfair lashing, that's all ...

I've decided all you guys talking about action and "not buzzing" are on something.

No guitar/bass ever has EVER had "no buzzing" with any reasonable action. It's all fake, a facade, you can't do it. Never going to happen.

Ok, sorry for spamming this thread but I'm having a really bad guitar day Snooty

To be fair, the buzzing we talk about is buzzing that is audible through the amp. ;) If it's inaudible through the amp, then it's not buzzing, it's "love resonating" ha ha ha!
