I believe this guitar is an '89 RG of some sort. I had someone notify me that the neck of the guitar might be from an EX270. It has a Lo-TRS Floyd Rose bridge; XH-1, XH-2, XS-3 pickups; all gold hardware; excellent condition; transparent purple; serial number: 9213715. I'm wondering if this is the original neck. I really have no idea so it would be great if someone could identify my Ibanez! Thanks!

Looks like it's going to be an EX3700 in transparent purple from '92. Only issue looks like the original EX logo was washed from the headstock.

Specs and features line up though. Nothing about it tells me RG.

Oddly enough, this is the second time I've gotten to use this link today :)

Thanks Tom, we used this site (http://www.guitarmasterclass.net/wiki/index.php/Ibanez_guitar_buying_guide) to try and identify this guitar and they show it to be an "89 using the first number as the year on 7 digit serials. I just looked at your link and that looks just like it really appreciate the help. We would like to find a value for this guitar. Would you happen to know the original cost new? Or how much it might be worth now. Thanks Trevor

I can only quote new "retail" pricing, which is always different than street value; most definitely different than used market value today.

In 92' these listed at $699.95
