Hi all,
I would like to swap or replace the fixed bridge on my old Blazer ( circa 1982 ). Does anyone know where I can find a suitable one. The existing bridge doesn't hold the low E in the groove.
It might be asking too much but it would be great if I could get a new one that had screw holes in the same place.Shifty
All answers are greatly appreciated.
Cheers all

I don't know of anything in particular for this model, but it appears to be a somewhat flat bridge mounted on the top of the guitar. As long as the top isn't routed for the original bridge, you can probably get away aith a good deal of aftermarket fixed bridges. Depending on the screw hole placement, you may need to fill the old hols and redrill new ones, but it definitely isn't too difficult of a job. Allparts has a ton of options for fixed bridges that should work, as long as you aren't opposed to redrilling holes:

Hope this helps,

Hi. Thanks for the info. I went ahead and got a replacement bridge, I had to fill holes and plug the rout under the bridge, I used a piece of mahogany. All the holes were in a different place.
I've cut a pickguard and am going to use p90's, (soapbar shaped ones)as of haven't got a guitar with them in yet. I was given this as a project so I can do what I can with it.
