Hey guys. I bought an SR4006E a few months ago and was wondering what I should use to protect the finish. Correct me if I'm wrong, I believe this is an oil stain finish? Would beeswax be good to use?

I wouldn't use any kind of wax or oil on this finish.

It is an open pore type finish, but is not completely "unfinished". These basses have a very thin coat of satin poly on the finish to help protect the wood. Any oil or wax won't get to the wood itself, just the poly finish, so I wouldn't use them. If it gets dirty, I would use a dry or slightly damp cloth rag.
