I kind of want to switch out my Titan and Seymour 59' with emgs. Now before everyone says that dumb... I already have a les Paul traditional and a roadhouse strat, so I've got my clean and crunchy stuff covered. I want to out emgs in the Ibanez to make it a killer. I've been looking between the classic 81/85 setup. But I've also seen a lot of good things about the 60, 66 and the 57. I want something that is going to get extremely heavy and nuts. I have a decent noise suppression pedal for all the extra noise so I'm not very concerned with that. I just wanted to see if anyone here has tried them in this guitar. Thanks guys!

I can't say that I have any experience with EMG pickups in the SZ myself. However, if you have the SZ520 or SZ720, the body wood is very similar to a Les Paul(Mahogany body with Maple Cap). If you are unable to find any info specifically regarding this guitar and pickup choice, you might be able to find some suggestions for Les Paul guitars using EMG pickups.

Hope this helps,
