I am looking at the specs between the KIKO10 (Prestige) vs the KIKO10P (Premium).

After doing a Google search, I couldn't find any recent information between the two due to how many different variations there has been over the years.

I guess the first question would be "what is the difference?"

Can the Edge be a drop in replacement for the Edge-Zero II?

The KIKO100 (Prestige) is made in Japan and has the EDGE tremolo, like you mentioned. The KIKO10P is a Premium series made in Indonesia and uses the EDGE Zero II. These 2 tremolo's function in practically the same way, but they are not cross compatible. The other difference is the Prestige neck using titanium reinforcement rods.

The only reference for tremolo's and cavities is on this forum here! However, the EDGE Zero systems are not listed. From the pictures above, you can see that the EDGE Zero II cavity is a little smaller than the original EDGE, so you will likely have to route the body to make the EDGE fit into the KIKO10P.

They both use the same pickups and have generally the same construction, so I'd expect them to perform fairly similarly. It just depends on which you'd prefer.

Hope this helps,

Seeing them side by side, I am able to see the difference between the tremolos.

Do you have have images of the Edge-Zero II from the back side? On Ibanez's site, it shows it with the cover on and it looks like it doesn't have a thumb wheel adjuster.
